In 2006, the Carlos and Sonia Haime Foundation started the execution of a social project in the City of Cartagena, Department of Bolívar, Colombia, which included the construction of long term relationships with the Manzanillo del Mar and Tierra Baja communities, under three intervention axis: Health, Education and Income Generation, which were supported by a psycho-social component as the transversal axis of all our work. Our programs were oriented to the achievement of collective benefits, to encourage the development of human potential, to challenge the community to dream and allow them to improve their quality of life without falling into paternalisms.
